Created on site in the outdoor painting session I did for “Exist Here” this piece: “Golden Hour View” was painted on location to warm up my palette, eye and composition for the larger piece.

Painting near a river/creek in Tachikawa, Japan at the peak of the sakura blooms is a delightful memory and one that continues to inform my Sakura work.

Capturing the golden hour light and the Sakura blooms is a reminder how valuable it is to pause and find beauty in routine moments like a sunset to help our minds and hearts.

Mailing + Local Pick-up dates are as follows: March 27, April 2, April 15—May 3. Shipping from Japan with USPS priority typically takes 1-3 weeks if traveling to the USA.
