Inspired by the blossoms from a younger tree with just the right lighting, came the beginnings of this piece.

“Unfolding story” captures the Sakura in a beautiful group as they blossom. It can be overwhelming at how many there flowers there are when trying to photograph or paint them. I focused on this cluster with just the right amount of green leaves and blossoms at different stages of bloom. The dark pink filaments signify the petals will fall soon, while the white filament indicates a newly opened Sakura.

I hope this painting not only inspires beauty and awe into your special space but a reminder that we each have a story that is unfolding each day. Growth and change are a beautiful part of existence and part of your story.
