Be Still is a striking painting of a prescribed burn in the Everglades, Florida. While most of my work focuses on the intense fires of the western landscape, living in Florida for four years gave me a new perspective of fire in nature. It is incredible to see fire used in the south to help nature thrive.

This landscape features a billowing smoke cloud and Florida landscape full of water and calming colors. This piece is a reminder that when life events seem overwhelming, to be still. To face your fears and uncertainties take courage. And when we are still in those moments we are showing our courage and gaining perspective and understanding of what is happening.  

This piece will bring courage, hope, and peace into your space.
