From my new work, "Midwest Flames" is 5x7 inch, oil on wood board. 2016. This piece has iridescent paint on the base layers and can be seen subtly through the smoke. I created this piece while on my ART & ADVENTURE trip last summer. Inspired by the plains of the midwest and the fires in that region.
